MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT 

Over the past twenty years, we have found that there are several areas of core skills essential to the development of high performing managers and leaders in organizations around the world.  Our programs are designed to build, develop and refine these core skills to maximize the contribution of leaders and managers at the organization, team, and individual levels. 

Advanced Business Skills Program - A highly intensive, four-day residential  course designed to improve skills in the areas of strategy development, critical thinking, problem solving, creative thinking, communications and group dynamics.  Action learning (application of program tools and techniques to real business issues in real time) is a major part of the program design.  Target audience includes high potential managers - and future managers - at all levels.  Note: Includes the full Six Thinking Hats program and an introduction to Lateral Thinking.

Coaching for Effective Empowerment & Delegation - A one-day course focusing on coaching individuals within a team through the application of the Situational Leadership model.  Managers examine their leadership style preferences and potential blind spots using a diagnostic self-assessment instrument (also available for 360 feedback), and through the application of the model, develop better style flexibility and effectiveness in managing and developing people.

Dynamics of Culture Change Seminar - A one and a half-day course designed to accelerate change in organizations.  This fast paced program significantly improves the quality of management communication and employee resiliency to change.  Primary goals are: to clarify the nature of change across the organization, to minimize the adverse impact of change on organization performance and to retain key performers during the process of change.  Appropriate for all levels of management and staff. 

Leadership & Management Skills Program - A two-day course focusing on managing the team and people as individuals within the team.  Covers basic leadership and motivational theory, team effectiveness processes, establishing goals for performance and development, performance management (providing feedback, managing expectations) and coaching through Situational Leadership.  Managers examine their leadership style preferences and blind spots using a diagnostic self-assessment instrument (also available for 360 feedback), and through the application of the model develop better style flexibility and effectiveness in managing and developing their people.  The MBTI* is utilized to improve managers’ communication with their team members.
